Mother's Day

We spent Jack's second Mother's Day split between Wellford and Lyman - pretty typical for a weekend home. On Saturday night we ate dinner with Grammy and Pop and Jack got to try out lots of cool new things . . . like playing with the antique Coke bottles and trying ice cream for the first time (with chocolate syrup)!

Here he is posing with Grammy.
Grammy and Pop bought him a dump truck full of blocks to play with but of course the Coke bottles were the most fun! Somebody tell that kid he's supposed to like Pepsi!

Getting a taste of Pop's ice cream - yum!!
Worn out after a busy night of playing and eating.
Snuggle time with Grammy.

On Sunday we went to church and then had lunch at Granny's and Grandy's house. There were lots of relatives there to entertain, but for some reason we only got a picture with David and Emily (that's Jack's Great Uncle and Aunt). Cousin Corbin couldn't make it because she was studying for exams and we completely understand. (We're also really glad we're not her right now!)

Here's a picture of Jack sitting on his special bench Granny and Grandy got for their yard.
Jack with his Great Uncle David and Great Aunt Emily. He seems to be really interested in the side of David's face!
Three Generations: Granny, Mama, & JackHappy Mother's Day!

Here's a flashback from last Mother's Day.
