First Christmas

Well, we decided it's about time to share a little bit of Jack's life with some of you who are interested, but are a little far away. So we are officially stealing this idea from others to blog some of Jack's highlights as he grows and changes on almost a daily basis. Although we are not promising new posts on a daily basis!

So we begin with Jack's first Christmas . . . .
Here's the family picture that FINALLY made the Christmas card (after many, many attempts). Notice we are missing a furry family member, but it was hard enough to get a decent picture with a seven month old, much less a hyperactive weimaraner!

Here's a Christmas baby . . . look at that drool on his chin!
Granny, Grandy, Pop, Grammy, and Uncle Mason all came to town to witness Jack's first Christmas. Even though he had his first ear infection at the time, Christmas morning was still a big hit! Once he noticed the big red wagon full of toys, his newfound skill of pulling up came in quite handy! It also came in handy as he and Hank gazed out the window.

Wow - the view is definitely better from here!

Playing with a favorite new toy.

Taking a ride in the wagon that Santa brought (and assembled).

Oh yeah, this was actually the favorite toy of the day - a plain old cardboard box!

Of course, Hank's favorite gift was from Pop and Grammy: Doggles - sunglasses for dogs. You can see he just LOVES modeling them for us!
