Random Moments, Climbing the Stairs, & Naptime

Since we haven't posted in a while, I thought we'd share a few random pictures we've taken lately. Here is a picture of Jack sleeping in his crib. Notice the furry nose poking through the crib slats. Hank always likes to check in on Jack and make sure he's ok.Bathtime is always a lot of fun - usually Jack isn't the only one who winds up soaking wet!

Here's Jack sporting his hat that was a gift from Pop for Christmas. Check out that grin!

In other news, guess who discovered he can climb stairs today? We started out just practicing on the first short flight of stairs, but once Jack saw Hank disappear up the second flight he was eager to perfect his newfound skill of climbing. He made it all the way up to the bonus room on the first attempt! Don't worry, I was right behind him the whole time so he wouldn't fall. (That was for you, Great Aunt Annette!)

Made it to the top!

Once in the bonus room, Jack discovered a new toy he hasn't seen in a while. Mama & Daddy brought it back for him from our New York trip last summer, but he was too little for it so we stored it in the bonus room. Guess he's just the right size for it now. He definitely enjoyed trying to the reach the "roof" of the house and climbing in and out of it.

After a long morning of climbing the stairs and playing, Jack was playing in his room when he discovered his favorite blanket in the crib. Once he saw that he decided that it was naptime and he had to have his blanket right then and there. Note his frustration when it doesn't come out as easily as he had hoped!

Almost . . .

. . . Finally!

Goodnight! Apparently the crib is no longer a requirement for naptime.
