Chuck E. Cheese

On the way home from Alabama, we left during nap time and everyone cooperated quite nicely, however, we knew we needed to stop for dinner and it had to be kid friendly. Thankfully, our GPS only took us on a short detour before getting us to Chuck E. Cheese. Now let me just say that the last time I went to Chuck E. Cheese it was still named Showbiz Pizza . . . so needless to say it's been a while! We all had a lot of fun watching Jack enjoy all the rides and games. The pizza was terrible of course, but I'm assuming that's not really why you go!

Even though he doesn't look thrilled here, this ended up being his favorite ride and it's one that snaps a picture while you're riding so we have five tiny black and white pictures of Jack with an assortment of expressions.

Daddy moved on to the next game but Jack climbed up to get his balls back!

Jack actually seemed to enjoy the disgusting pizza!

Anna got to ride around in the highchair and it didn't even cost us any tokens!

Mmm, carrots!

Toward the end of the night, all Jack wanted to do was sit in the rides and buckle the seat belts. Then he would get stuck and holler "off" until someone came to rescue him.

"Off!"

This just captures our life. All they had to do was sit still for a few seconds so the machine could take their picture and then "sketch" it out. Jack wouldn't sit long enough so he's heading out of the picture and Anna's just taking it all in with her big, googly eyes!
