We're Home

It has definitely been a busy few days for us. We had tons of visitors at the hospital and really enjoyed getting to catch up with lots of friends we haven't seen in a while. We even got to come home a day early - only 28 hours after Anna was born! Now that we're home we're adjusting to our new family quite well. Here are some pictures from the past couple days.

Huli, Katie, Jennifer, and Allison all drove from Rock Hill or Spartanburg to come see Anna only hours after she was born.

Lottie, Addie, and their mom, Charlotte, all came by the next morning (Corrie stopped by the day before).
We don't have pictures of all our visitors, but we really did have tons of folks stop by to see us and we really appreciate it. It was wonderful to see you all!

Granny, Grandy, and Jack came back up to the hospital Thursday morning and guess who was a WILD boy! Here he is enjoying a snack.

Here are two really sweet pictures.
On the left is Marshall holding Anna at one day old. The right picture is Marshall holding Jack at three days old.

Getting dressed to come home. Check out how huge the bloomers are on her!

Anna's "going home" dress is one that I wore as a baby.

She's so tiny in the infant car seat!

Hank had to check Anna out as soon as we got home. We have almost the exact same picture of Jack when we brought him home. I guess Hank approved, because he's pretty much left her alone since then.

Jack was so sweet seeing his new little sister again. He patted her head over and over and kept saying "please." It took us a while to figure out what he wanted, but we think he wanted her out of the seat so he could play in it!

On another note, we pulled out some of Jack's old pacifiers (that he never really liked or used since he discovered his fingers) and guess what his new obsession is! He likes to walk around with it in his mouth and then he gives it to Anna. He's actually very sweet about it and continues to be very gentle with her . . . so far!

Yep, that's a paci in his mouth!
