A Day of Fours

Today was a very special day for us for a couple of reasons. We had a 4D ultrasound of our sweet baby girl today and it was amazing! She's still a girl (yay - since we have a pink "junk room" that's soon to be the nursery) and she's healthy and developing right on track. We got to see her yawning, swallowing, smiling, and sucking her fist. She's weighing in at 3lbs 5oz and only 9 1/2 weeks left to go . . . or less! Seeing her sweet face on the screen just reminded us of how God has truly blessed our family with two healthy kids.

So here she is . . . Anna Kathryne McCravy (named for two special great-grandmothers who are celebrating this expanding family with our Lord).

The side of her face is smooshed up against my uterus so it's a little hard to see in the next couple of pictures.

Here is her hand, with her long fingers pointing to the left.

Sucking on her fist . . . maybe she will suck her fingers like big brother, Jack.

During the visit, the technician switched the machine from 4D back to 2D to show us her hair, which is what the arrow is pointing to. I just knew that she would be bald since Jack had a ton of hair and obviously couldn't wear bows, but bring on the bows baby!

On another note, today was also special because Marshall and I celebrated our four year anniversary (that's four years of being married, ELEVEN years together total). Looking back over the past four years we have packed a lot into them: four houses in three different towns, five jobs, trips to Jamaica, New York, the beach, and the mountains, a dog, a son, and a daughter on the way. It's been a full four years in which God has blessed our marriage and our growing family daily!
