Potty Training Update

It's been a little crazy here over the past few days! Granny & Grandy came to visit so we were a little off the normal potty routine while they were here. Still Jack only had 2 accidents each on Days 3 & 4. He pooped once each day in his underwear, and let me just say - UGH! That's definitely the down side of not using disposable training pants!

Today is Day 5 and Jack's first day out of the house since this whole potty process began. He went to school for his usual 3 hours at Child's Day Out. It just worked out that parents were invited to join their kids at the book fair this morning so we walked in with him and showed him the potty in his classroom, etc. I had already explained everything to him, but it probably helped that he got to check it all out without the pressure of having to go.

When I picked him up from school, the first thing I noticed was that he had on the same clothes he was wearing that morning! His teacher told me she had to ask him once, but every other time he told her he had to go (he doesn't even do that at home)!

He had ZERO accidents all day long!!!! He also continues to wake up every morning and from every nap dry! He got a special surprise today for keeping his underwear dry at school and so we've been playing trains all afternoon/evening.

Showing off Salty, his new train.
