Our latest saying to Jack has been "be easy with Hanky" or "love the dog easy." Jack has taken to walking up to Hank and "patting" him with all his might! It's actually ok since Hank is so tough, but when he did that to another child at church we realized we should probably start preparing Jack for his new sister and teach him how to be easy with people and animals. He's starting to learn that he should not pat Hank with his hands full of blocks because it makes Hank jump like a bucking bronco! I guess Hank is finally accepting the fact that Jack's not going anywhere because he's much more tolerant than he used to be. These pictures were taken tonight of our boys hanging out. Hank is lying in one of his favorite spots - at the base of a short set of stairs leading into our bonus room. However, this is also one of Jack's favorite places to play. He loves climbing up and down the three steps over and over again. This is a prime example of Hank's increased tolerance!

No need for Hank to move, Jack just treats him like another stairstep!

Whew - that's a long stretch!

It's so much harder to get off of this last step!

Jack also likes to sit on Hank and bounce up and down - kind of like a trampoline, but sitting down. He will usually do this as long as long as Hank will let him (a few seconds, max). You can see in this picture that Hank is letting him stay a little longer this time but the look on his face is a little perplexed.

But at the end of the day, they're still friends. This is what Jack did when told to give Hank a kiss. Awww!!
