Christmas 2007

Here are the highlights of Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, set to pictures, of course!

Jack had fun doing a puzzle with Pop on Christmas Eve.

But he had even more fun once Pop got into his climber with him!

After bath time, Jack had fun playing . . .

. . . and putting together more puzzles with Granny.

Christmas morning started out with Jack being a little timid.

However, then he discovered the power wheels that Santa brought and he took off!

Once Grandy helped him turn around, he was ready to go again.
Next, he moved on to the "manly" kitchen.

Daddy and his best girl!

After breakfast, we moved on to the stockings and began opening gifts.

Anna doesn't seem to be quite as into it as Jack!
She did get to open the first gift, though. It was a quilt made especially for her by Grammy (and Linda). It's beautiful and now she doesn't have to hang out on Jack's quilts!

Since Grammy is good at making things, she baked Hank some very special treats and even cut them into the letter "H."
He loved them so much that he sat right in front of her the rest of the morning, patiently waiting for more!
Jack got this outfit from Pop and Grammy and insisted on putting on immediately.

Then he had to ride the power wheels again.

Next, he opened Thomas the Train slippers from Grandy & Granny . . .

. . . and then this Duke helmet from Daddy . . .

. . . and then he had to ride the power wheels again!

A little later, Jack received more new clothes that he HAD to put on right then, and of course, he showed them off while riding on one of his favorite gifts of the day.

Here he is sporting his new tool belt, and new clothes with the tags still on them.

Meanwhile, Anna took a couple naps surrounded by all the chaos.
One of Daddy's favorite gifts was Guitar Hero III. Here he is playing with Pop, but Pop seems to have a distraction in his lap.

This is a tired boy, who was somewhere in the process of changing out of his new clothes when he needed to snuggle - or maybe he just wanted to push the buttons on the guitar!

Even Granny attempted to rock out on one song, although she struggled a little more than the others!

One last attempt at a family picture.

After everyone left, Jack snuggled on the couch with his blankets and the guitar (which Uncle Mason and Daddy gave him to keep him occupied while they played the game).

At the end of a fun filled day, Jack enjoys his new magna-doodle, while wearing his new slippers and helmet, of course!
